Hi, I’m Kelsey Ball!

I’m the founder of Tidal Therapy and am a perinatal mental health specialist, therapist, coach and consultant focused on improving how women are supported both in therapy and within other care teams for fertility and parental transitions as well as all stages of life. Outside of work, you will find me curled up with a good book and my dog, Kyro, or planning my next travel adventure.

Through my work as a therapist, I’ve supported women navigating pregnancy, postpartum challenges, fertility struggles and loss. In those experiences, I began to notice a consistent pattern - many women are not being adequately supported within care systems they are already a part of. I’m passionate about providing services that can be a catalyst to real change in systems and support systems involved.

My Approach

I believe mental health care should not exist in isolation from the rest of healthcare. When providers are equipped with the right tools and systems, patients are more likely to be seen, supported, and treated earlier. Specifically, fertility and the perinatal period is a cruicial time for processing new feelings, going through large changes, and transitioning into new phases of life. The goal is to make mental health support feel more integrated, accessible and actionable both for the individuals experiencing it and the professionals responsible for their care.

Individual services

Therapy and coaching are separate services offered to individuals experiencing the need. Both are unique from each other and support clients differently but aim to increase support in their own right.

Professional services

Consulting aims to support a wide range of providers in executing quality and informed care by eliminating barriers and reducing work load for assessment integration, interpretation, referrals and more. In addition, we offer on-demand trainings, scheduled in-person trainings, and a store front of quick access resources to make informed care accessible for everyone.

Disclaimer: Therapy services are provided through Tidal Therapy, LLC. However, consulting, training, and educational resources are non-clinical services and do not establish a theraputic relationship.
